Tender Care's Rates and Payment Policies
REGISTRATION FEE per child: $75.00 due on enrollment and is necessary to reserve a space for your child. This is non-refundable. unless we do not have space available when you need to start. MONTHLY TUITION is DUE IN ADVANCE on the first of each month. Arrangements to twice per month may be made. Example: 1/2 paid at 1 st of month & 1/2 paid by middle of the month.
Infant
1 Month - 1st Bday
- 5 days a week: $1,730.00 mo
- 4 days a week: $ 1,630.00 mo
- 3 days a week, or Less: $ 1,530.00 mo
Toddler
1 Yr. - Potty-trained
- 5 days a week: $ 1,455 .00 mo
- 4 days a week: $1,355.00 mo
- 3 days a week, or Less: $ 1,255.00 mo
Preschool
Age 3 and up
- 5 days a week: $ 1,355 mo
- 4 days a week: $ 1,255.00 mo
- 3 days a week, or Less: $ 1,155.00 mo
* If you work 4 -Ten hours you will be charged the same as 5 days a week, for 4 days a week.
(Children can only attend daycare for a total of 50 hours per week, maximum.)
LATE FEES: A $50.00 late fee will be added to any balance owed after the 17th, as the total amount is due on the 16th. Failure to pay tuition, in full, in the current month, will result in your child not being able to attend until the full amount is paid.
DISCOUNTS: 10% discount for 2nd, 3rd child, etc., IF 5 days a week, same family, and private pay.
NSF Checks: $35.00 fee will be added for checks returned by the bank, for any reason.
ABSENCES: Sick days or occasional absences are not discounted from your tuition. If returning after withdrawing because of seasonal work, another $75.00 registration fee, per child, is required.
*** Please call by 8 am, when your child will be absent for any reason, OR there is ANY schedule change.
VACATIONS & HOLIDAYS: Two weeks’ notice must be given to the office to discount Vacation days. We will only discount up to TWO WEEKS of vacation per year, per family, UNLESS your work is seasonal. We are Closed for 12 holidays, and the day after Thanksgiving, and two Curriculum days per year. We Pay our staff, so the Holidays are not discounted from your tuition, unless you take that week as your Vacation discount.
WITHDRAWING FROM ENROLLMENT: Two weeks’ notice is required for Private paid and State paid. Credits or refunds cannot be given without 2 weeks’ notice.
HOURS CONTRACTED TO ATTEND: You need to bring your child to the schedule you give us.
If your schedule changes, give the changes to the office immediately. Children are not allowed, by Licensing standards, to be in Daycare more than 10 hours per day. It is necessary for your child to be in regular attendance to keep their place. Occasional attendance is “Drop in” status, which we do not have available. IF your child does not attend for more than a week and we have not heard from you, your space will no longer be held open for you.
STATE PAID: It is your responsibility to keep your status current with DSHS. If they do not pay, for any reason, you are responsible for paying the entire amount. Co-payments are due in the current month, or subject to a late fee of $50.00. You must notify us of any absence by calling that day, because we need a lunch count by 9 am. Notify us AND your case worker of any schedule changes, other than a one-time change. FYI: The state does not pay for days you are not at work. IF you need us on those days, you will be billed our “Day rate”, as long as your child is not here over 50 hours in that week, & we have open space.
LATE PICK UP: We close at 6 pm, Sharp. Parents will be charged $1.00 per child, for each minute after 6 pm. If you are not here by 6:10 pm, we will call someone on your “Pick-up List” to come and pick up your child, if you have not called telling us you are on the way. If you are State Paid, please note that DSHS does not cover “late fees” of any kind.
